Whether you are a seller or buyer, your name and contact information do not appear
anywhere on the website.
- As a Seller, you completely control and create your equipment description, set your
price, and upload images. You negotiate one-on-one with prospects about the sale
of your excess equipment. It's your machinery, and you direct the sale.
- As a Buyer, you inform the Seller of your interest in purchase, state your purchase
offer, and negotiate any-and-all terms until the purchase is finalized or dropped.
Potential sales only occur between XS-Machinery.com account holders. A potential sale
"begins" when an account holder uses an XS-Machinery.com feature to state interest in
specific machinery. When this feature is used, names and contact information are
automatically emailed: The Seller receives the interested party's name and contact
information; the interested party receives an email with the Seller's name and contact
information.
It is the beginning of a "direct contact" sale: XS-Machinery is completely removed
from the process. The interested party and seller communicate with each other, are
responsible for when and how often communication occurs, and determine when and
if a sale occurs. Only the seller and interested party direct and control the success
of a sales transaction.
- When a potential Buyer reaches an agreement to purchase from the Seller, the Buyer
is responsible for
all freight arrangements to the Buyer's location, which may include
rigging, loading, transportation, unloading, and installation and hook-up.
- The Seller is completely responsible
for all activities to complete the sale, which includes funds collection and equipment
availability (where and when the equipment can be picked up).
